As we approach Colombo, the railway is less than 5 meters away from the sea, making it feel like the train is really traveling on the sea 🌊. I imagine myself as Chihiro, off to find Yubaba, but unfortunately, there's no cute No-Face man by my side ☺… ✅ Second Stop 🐘 Elephant Orphanage · A Disney Princess Experience Card Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage is a place full of love 💗, taking in many homeless, trapped, or severely injured young elephants. Visitors can interact with the elephants, take photos, watch them eat and play, and interestingly, even bathe the elephants 🛀. For a moment, I feel like a Disney princess from an animated movie, haha. Elephants are truly adorable creatures, and I wish there could be less slaughter in the world 🙏… ✅ Third Stop 🐆 Yala National Park · Where Are the Fantastic Beasts Yala Safari, said to be Africa's alternative, is a very novel experience for someone who has never experienced a wild Safari. We ride in a jeep, tracking wild animals 🛻. Here, you have the chance to see sloth bears, Asian elephants, buffalo, wild boar, sambar deer, and various other animals. Spotting the famous Sri Lankan leopard requires luck, but this unpredictability is what heightens the emotions… ✅ Fourth Stop 🎣 Stilt Fishermen · The World's Most Amazing Fishing Method A unique cultural landscape in Sri Lanka—the stilt fishermen, who sit on a wooden pole stuck into the sea bed to fish, looking from afar like they're on stilts.
