As we approach Colombo, the railway is less than 5 meters away from the sea, making it feel like the train is really traveling on the sea π. For a moment, I feel like a Disney princess from an animated movie, haha. Spotting the famous Sri Lankan leopard requires luck, but this unpredictability is what heightens the emotionsβ¦ β Fourth Stop π£ Stilt Fishermen Β· The World's Most Amazing Fishing Method A unique cultural landscape in Sri Lankaβthe stilt fishermen, who sit on a wooden pole stuck into the sea bed to fish, looking from afar like they're on stilts. It is said that this method was devised by fishermen in the past who couldn't afford boats. "Poverty inspires creativity" is truly a saying that rings true!
