Irvine's Free Hot Air Balloon Ride at Great Park Balloon 🅿️ Parking Lot 3 is the closest to the big balloon! Open Thursday to Sunday, closed Monday - Wednesday ❌ Thursday and Friday: 10AM-3PM, 7PM-10PM Saturday and Sunday: 9AM-3PM, 7PM-10PM In the afternoon, visit the ice rink next to the Great Park 🧊. Arriving at the park just in time to book the second session, which starts at 7 PM. It's recommended to arrive early at the visitor center to scan and register, but the actual order is around 5:30 PM when people start lining up at the entrance of the visitor center. After registering again with the staff at the front desk, you will receive two text messages. Ignore the first one, and after getting the second text message, go to the front desk to pick up your boarding pass, which is a note. Then, you can line up under the hot air balloon to go up.
