Is a $225 Meal in Philadelphia Worth It?

👍Fresh ingredients, exquisite presentation, and exceptional service—this place is truly high-end and sophisticated! If you love sashimi and trying out new restaurants, this spot is definitely worth a visit. Our friends who joined us absolutely fell in love with it. 👍However, if you’re like me—someone who doesn’t enjoy raw food and prefers hearty meals with lots of meat—please proceed with caution! After finishing my meal here, I still craved a bowl of noodles; the portions are just too small, with some dishes offering only a single bite. The restaurant is also quite difficult to book. I made a reservation three weeks in advance, and it wasn’t even for the weekend. The main reason is that the restaurant is very small and has limited seating. ✨It seems the chef aims to create a Korean-style dining experience (his wife is Korean, and the restaurant’s theme incorporates Korean elements into French cuisine), but it feels a bit disjointed. Additionally, the overuse of luxurious ingredients continues to be a letdown. For instance, the bluefin tuna with foie gras and black truffle on the autumn menu was quite disappointing, and I mentioned this to the chef at the end of the meal. ✨Restaurant Name: Provenance Address: 408 S 2nd St, Philadelphia, PA 19147 #FineDining #FrenchCuisine #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGems #Ambiance #FusionCreativity
