Is the Highly-Rated Xinjiang Cuisine Really That Good? ๐ค
๐ CARAVAN UZBEK & TURKISH CUISINE 8015 S Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32809 I've seen this Uzbek restaurant pop up so many timesโit's similar to Xinjiang cuisine, and everyone seems to love it! With all the perfect reviews, I had super high expectations, but I was just a tiny bit disappointed. ๐ ๐ฅ Must-Try Dishes: ๐ฅ Manti | $17.99 I was really looking forward to trying the famous samsa (a type of baked bun), but they didn't have it that day. ๐ Instead, I got the steamed version of the bun, and it was surprisingly delicious! The thin wrapper encases a juicy, tender lamb filling that's super flavorful. It's like a burst of flavor in every bite! ๐ ๐ Strawberry Cake The desserts here are amazing! You can pick them right from the counter. I took some to go, so I'm not sure of the name, but trust me, their desserts are incredible ! They're the kind that will blow your mind when you first taste them. ๐ Just be warnedโthey're super sweet! This strawberry cake has a fluffy, marshmallow-like texture inside. It feels like you're eating chewy airโso unique and delightful! ๐ฅข ๐ฐ Napoleon | $7.99 The Napoleon cake is also fantastic. The crispy layers of pastry combined with the almond flavor are just perfect. It's a must-try! ๐ฐ I didn't recommend their famous main dishes because they didn't quite meet my expectations. ๐ The lamb pilaf wasn't very oily or flavorful, and the hand-pulled noodles (la mian) didn't live up to the authentic version my friend's grandmother used to make. The lamb skewers were a bit dry and lacked flavor, even though they smelled good. But the desserts are definitely worth a visit! ๐ #FoodieAdventures #OrlandoFood #FollowMeEating #Orlando #WeekendEats #Food #FoodieDiary #FoodieHunt #FoodieLife #WhatToEatToday #FeedThePhoneFirst
