The clip-clop of hooves, pink shimmering waters 💖, and gentle breeze make it feel like stepping back in time — pure magic! ⚠️ But beware of the “friendly” local photographers! 📸 They’ll enthusiastically take photos of you from every angle — even without you asking — and say “It’s free!”… until you get off the carriage. Then they’ll show you hundreds of photos and charge 60 PKR per photo 💸. You could end up surrounded by 3-4 men demanding thousands of PKR. Stay alert and say a firm “No thank you!” upfront. 🦜 Bird Zoo: Right next door is the Bird Zoo — claimed to be the 3rd largest in Asia 🥉. Even if you’re not a bird enthusiast, it’s worth a quick visit. Lots of species! Walk further toward the lake — there’s a vast green lawn and photogenic white buildings in the distance. (Oh, and it’s really hot! 🥵) 🏎️ Go-Karting: After the lake, search “Go-Kart track” on Google Maps — just 1 km away! This place is AWESOME 😍: 3,500 PKR per person 15 mins / ~15 laps Easy to drive: left foot brake, right foot gas 🚦 No seatbelt — just a helmet 🪖 Big outdoor track — nothing like those cramped mall karting spots! 👯 Group bonus: Bring 5+ people and get a FREE pizza 🍕 (and it’s delicious!).
