It's actually New York's first fine dining restaurant! (2)🌟
5️⃣ Brussel Sprout - Super delicious with wasabi! 🥬 6️⃣ Dessert Baked Alaska: The waiter recommended it as a signature dish that has been around for a hundred years. Inside, it has banana ice cream, walnut cake, apricot jelly, and cream. When served, the waiter lights it on fire, which feels like a very old-school visual treat. 🌟 I'm not a big fan of cream, but the filling tastes really good! The combination of banana ice cream and apricot sauce is delightful! 🍼 Overall, it's no surprise that this steakhouse, with its two hundred years of history, has such mature seasoning and ingredient selection. 🌟It makes sense that it has stood strong in Tribeca for so long. Making a reservation wasn't difficult; maybe Americans don't really celebrate 520 haha. There were quite a few finance bros socializing after work yesterday! The only thing that puzzled me was that the total bill was in cash. If you pay by card, it's ten dollars more??? Peter Luger also accepts cash... but I wish I had been informed before the meal. Otherwise, it feels like I've been ambushed. 💸 #NewYorkFood 🍔🌟 #NewYorkSteak 🍖 #NewYorkExploration 🗽
