Italian Cuisine in Las Vegas: Esther's Kitchen šŸ

I visited Esther’s Kitchen while in Las Vegas for a concert šŸŽ¤. I originally wanted to try their brunch (similar to Chinese morning tea), but they only serve it on weekends, so we ended up having lunch instead! šŸž Starters + Bread: First up: sourdough bread šŸ„–. It’s said to be homemade and comes with a small portion of butter cheese, but you can also order three extra dips. We tried: • Basil ricotta 🌿 • Cannellini beans 🫘 • Anchovy butter 🐟 Eating Italian sourdough is kind of like having Shandong-style scallion with dip—the spreads are like the savory bean paste, and the bread is like the scallion… but not really! šŸ˜‚ šŸ— Main Courses: There were only two main dishes on the menu, and we ordered both: • Wood-grilled half Mary’s chicken šŸ— • Wild-caught branzino 🐟 Both were incredibly flavorful! The grilled chicken was marinated in advance—totally different from the bland roasted chicken you find in American supermarkets. šŸ Pasta: We ordered the Chitarra Verde šŸŽø. ā€œChitarraā€ means guitar in Italian—the pasta is made using a tool that looks like guitar strings! ā€œVerdeā€ refers to the green, vegetarian version. There’s also a non-veg option: Chitarra Cacio e Pepe. šŸ· Cocktail: I tried the Stalk D\*rty to Me—a playful twist on ā€œTalk Dirty to Me.ā€ šŸø It’s made with London dry gin, Genepy (a herbal liqueur from the French/Italian Alps), mint, celery, and lemon. The taste is crisp and refreshing (from the gin, mint, and celery), slightly bitter (from the Genepy), tangy (from the lemon), and a little salty (from the brine). Really unique! šŸ“ Other Notes: Loved the interior—industrial style mixed with a bit of maximalism. The wallpaper featured Art Nouveau Morris-style botanical prints, which you don’t see often in newer restaurants. Even the restroom was beautifully designed—I always judge a place by its bathroom! šŸ˜„ They also had a cute little payment tray—nice touch. Final thought: A month later, what I remember most is that sourdough with dips! Not that the other dishes weren’t good—it’s just that the bread was THAT delicious! 🄹 Authentic Italian food truly is the king of Western cuisine. Have you been to Esther’s Kitchen? What’s your favorite Italian spot in Vegas?
