Italy|Already Dreaming of Summer in the Dolomites

I can’t wait for summer in the Dolomites! 📍 Destination: Dolomites, Italy 🚗 How to explore: Self-drive/Hiking/Road trip 📅 Recommended duration: 5-10 days ✈️ Transport: Fly to a nearby major city, then rent a car for a road trip 🗺️ 7-Day Itinerary: Day 1: Tre Cime di Lavaredo Home to some of Italy’s most breathtaking mountain panoramas, this is a hiker’s paradise. The most popular trail leads to Rifugio Locatelli (Drei Zinnen Hut), just 1.5 hours from Auronzo. Day 2: Lago di Braies & Lago di Sorapis Wake up early for sunrise at Lago di Braies (boats available 10 AM–5 PM from June to September). In the afternoon, visit Lago di Sorapis—its turquoise waters are unreal. Day 3: Passo di Giau This stunning mountain pass offers 360° views of iconic peaks like Nuvolau, Averau, Marmolada, Tofane, and Cristallo. Day 4: Lago di Carezza & Sella/Gardena Pass The emerald Lago di Carezza is a bit remote but worth the detour. Arrive early to avoid crowds and soak in its fairy-tale beauty. Day 5: Alpe di Siusi Europe’s largest alpine meadow feels straight out of a storybook. A must-visit, even on a short trip! Day 6: Seceda With its jagged cliffs and sweeping vistas, Seceda is my favorite spot in the Dolomites. Photos can’t capture its raw grandeur—you have to see it in person. Day 7: Val di Funes Famous for the St. Johann Church framed by the Odle peaks, this valley is a photographer’s dream. 🏠 Stay: Panoramic Apartment in the Dolomites ⛰️ Highlights: ▪️ A cozy mountain chalet near shops, churches, and museums ▪️ Stunning views right from your window ▪️ Fully equipped, pristine, sleeps 7 #Italy #Dolomites #RoadTrip #HikingParadise #AlpineMagic #TravelInspo
