Italy - Rome Travel Guide, Trevi Fountain Photo Tips

🏎️Transportation: The airport in Rome is quite far from the city center, about 20 kilometers, and the airport is very large, so it's best to reserve more than an hour regardless of the mode of transportation. - 👍 Taking a taxi to the hotel in the city center costs a fixed 50 euros, and the car comes quickly, but like the bus, it's easy to hit traffic on the highway, taking about 50 minutes. - 🧩 The airport bus costs between 7 and 10 euros, and you can follow the bus signs out of the airport. There are three companies together, and you can choose which one goes fastest on the spot. Buying tickets on-site is 1 euro more expensive than online, and they will take you directly to the central train station. - 🧩 The airport train express, the Leonardo express, costs 14 euros per person, with trains every 15 minutes/half an hour, so you don't have to worry about traffic jams! It's a stable 32 minutes to the airport. ⚠️(There are people in red clothes who offer to help you buy tickets next to the machine. At first, I thought they were staff, but they're actually impostors. Buying tickets is very simple and doesn't require assistance. If they approach you, you can politely decline because they will ask for money afterwards 😂) 🥹There's no need for a daily transportation pass, as the attractions are close together and can be reached on foot. Except for the bus ride to the Vatican, where ticket inspections were conducted, I highly recommend the ticket app: ticketappy. This way, you can buy and scan tickets directly on your phone. Attractions: The Colosseum tickets can only be bought online. If you can't find tickets online at the last minute, don't panic; refresh after a few minutes, and there are usually spots available. Architecture students get in free, but they need to show professional proof (very strict). All discounts are only for EU passports, so residence/student cards are useless, and you can only buy full-price tickets. 🌹For the Mouth of Truth photo, have your friend prepare the camera in advance because you have to queue up one by one and can't take too long. If you're not satisfied, you'll just have to keep queuing. 🌹The ice creams in the old town are generally good choices ~ There are various delicious ones, but pasta can easily be undercooked and too salty. This time I didn't get to try the highly recommended dishes; I'll have to explore slowly next time. #Rome #Italy #Travel #TreviFountain #EuropeanGuide #EuropeanLife #ItalianTravel #Travel
