🌸 Izu + Kamakura + Tokyo: A Daily Dose of Healing Moments
📅 Day 1 Touch down and get picked up directly by a Chinese-speaking driver to head to West Izu (2.5 hours). After checking into a traditional Japanese hot spring inn in the afternoon, you can enjoy the inn's facilities and the hot springs. In the evening, take a 5-minute drive to Lovers' Cape to watch the sunset against the backdrop of Mount Fuji and the Suruga Bay—romantic to the point of breathlessness. 📅 Day 2 Wake up naturally and we'll set off by car to the Funashima Boat Tour, which takes 50 minutes and immerses you in the essence of the West Coast's scenic spots. After the boat ride, have lunch at a small cafeteria right by the dock—dining with a view of the sea, where the freshest catch is just a net away from your table! I highly recommend trying their cherry shrimp here—it's truly amazing. Spend the afternoon playing by the floating islands and head to Golden Park for a sunset view. 📅 Day 3 Only open from July to September, the boat tour to the Glass Sea - HIRIZO Beach is a must-visit. How can you miss the chance to go snorkeling and diving here! The stone corridor at Shiroyaki and the sea cliff torii are also photogenic spots. Next up, take the train made famous by Spirited Away and visit the Oomura Mountain Volcano. We'll only ride the most scenic 30-minute segment of the train. Then, take the cable car up to Oomura Mountain Volcano. In summer, the lush green volcano with its red torii gates and the distant Mount Fuji in the background truly capture the colors of a Hayao Miyazaki animation. 📅 Day 4 After waking up naturally, a private car will take you to Kamakura to start a day tour. For lunch, I've found a fantastic restaurant with views of the Enoshima Electric Railway, the sea, and Enoshima Island—serenity at its best. There are also some hidden shrines we'll visit, such as one where you can see both the Enoshima Electric Railway and a torii. #JapanTravel
