π Rough Itinerary: Day 1: Museum β Riverside stroll β Dinner Day 2: Sunrise at 6 AM β Zoo β Head home Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens Visited on a Saturday β totally lucked out with FREE admission that day! π« Normally $15β20, so bring your student ID if you have one. The gardens are gorgeous, right by the river. Perfect for a slow walk and some artsy pics. Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens Ticket: Around $44 per adult (kids cheaper, but I forgot exact prices π ). This zoo is HUGE β wear comfy shoes, seriously! π₯Ώ My feet were dead but worth it. They have a cute little train π, a turtle petting area, and you can even feed giraffes π¦! Super family-friendly. Riverside Photo Spot Parkingβs a bit tricky β drove around a few times till I found a spot. Best time for photos is around sunset. I went at 5 PM and the sun was still strongβ¦ couldnβt even open my eyes fully π. Golden hour would be ideal! Food & Coffee Blue Orchid Thai Cuisine Just a few blocks from the museum β plenty of parking! π₯ Mango sticky rice is a MUST. So good! π« Fresh spring rolls were also delicious β light and flavorful. Murray Hillbilly A vegan burger joint β surprisingly amazing! π Even as a meat lover, I was impressed. Great for grabbing something on the go. π Final Tips:Wear walking shoes π (zoo + riverside walks are no joke) Check museum free days if youβre on a budget π Sunset > bright sun for riverside photos πΈ Vegan or not β give Murray Hillbilly a try! π± Jacksonville may not be Miami, but itβs got its own slow, sunny charm.
