Japan's countryside is my top choice for a vacation!

Specific itinerary: 1️⃣ Tokyo - 2hr - Sendai 2️⃣ Sendai - 40mins - Matsushima (return to Sendai the same day) 3️⃣ Sendai - 1hr - Hiraizumi - 2hr - Hachinohe 4️⃣ Hachinohe - 2hr - Aomori 5️⃣ Aomori - 1hr - Hirosaki 6️⃣ Hirosaki - Tsubakizaki (by Tsugaru Kaikyo Train) 7️⃣ Tsubakizaki - Kakunodate (by Tsugaru Kaikyo Train) 8️⃣ Kakunodate - Tokyo Japan's rural areas are rich in rice, fruit, and sake... The movie "Little Forest" was filmed here. Here are some great spots along the way: 📍 Sendai - The place where Lu Xun studied in Japan, there's a statue and monument of Lu Xun at the entrance of the Sendai City Museum. Sendai's grilled tongue is a famous Japanese delicacy, and I visited the local old shop, Mirataro, which was indeed delicious 😋 📍 Matsushima - One of Japan's three scenic spots / Exquisite coastline with pine trees 🌲 📍 Hiraizumi - World Heritage listed temples (Mougo-ji, Chuson-ji) 📍 Hachinohe - Seafood at the fishing port / Local sake is great 🍶 Aomori - The hometown of Japanese apples 🍎 There's a store that sells local agricultural products, which is fun to visit and delicious! Not far is the Oirase Stream, a popular light hiking route in Japan. Hirosaki - The hometown of Yoshitomo Nara / Japanese people come here to enjoy cherry blossoms Tsubakizaki - There's an onsen hotel where you can soak in the hot springs on the Pacific coast 📍 Kakunodate - The hometown of Japanese samurai / The street trees are rare weeping cherry blossoms There are few tourists along the way, and each small place is interesting.
