Japan's Hidden Gem Route | - Tateyama πŸ—»

#SoulAndBodyOnTheRoad #ThisTemplateHasItAll Itinerary: Day 1: Fly from Shanghai to Nagoya Day 2: Legoland in Nagoya Day 3: Take a bus to Toyama (4-hour journey) Day 4: Light hiking from Toyama to Tateyama Day 5: Return trip If you have more holidays, you can also visit Kanazawa, or instead of returning to Toyama from Tateyama, you can take a loop route. Tateyama has a luggage forwarding service, which is very considerate! Advantages: Fewer crowds! Except for the large flow of people at Takashimaya on Sunday when returning to Nagoya, all attractions are sparsely populated, offering a fantastic experience. Toyama is a very tranquil small city with the most beautiful Starbucks and art museums. The children's playground on the top floor of the art museum is well designed. Although not large, it's a place where kids can have a lot of fun. Tateyama is known as the "Alps of Asia," and the scenery is indeed breathtaking! Although there are more beautiful places in my vast homeland, summer vacation experiences are definitely compromised. Here, you hardly feel the peak tourist season, and it's not far away. Nagoya can complete the shopping segment with exchange rate advantages for shopping. However, the Central Japan Airport is somewhat disappointing; Mikimoto is quite small, and Issey Miyake closes at 1530. However, the cost of living in Toyama is not low. Starbucks is quite cheap, while Izakaya is average. Transportation Strategy: From Nagoya to Toyama, we believe the best option is by bus. You can buy tickets in advance at the bus terminal in Nagoya Station. The 4-hour journey is straightforward, with one stop in between, and there's even a toilet on the bus, so no worries. Starting from Toyama to Tateyama, you need to change to 8 different modes of transportation along the way, which is also part of the attraction. The process is well-organized, and there are many staff members to guide you, so you won't get lost. Just make sure to plan your time well. Buy the full journey tickets at the beginning. Accommodation Strategy: We prefer hotels with large public baths, so we take this into consideration when choosing hotels. In Nagoya, we chose Fushimi Yamato, which has larger rooms than the dormyinn we've stayed in before, right across from Fushimi Station. There's a drugstore downstairs, and 500 meters away is the flagship store of Mikimoto! In Toyama, we chose Hotel Vischio Toyama in front of the station, which was impressive! They have triple rooms (extra charge for and breakfast for children), breakfast includes smoked salmon and various onigiri sushi, and even the most expensive watermelon in Japan πŸ‰. The view is also great (the last photo is the view from the hotel window). It's conveniently located right above a shopping mall, and we would choose this hotel again. Booking on agoda is slightly cheaper than Ctrip. #JapanFreeTravel #Japan #Family #OffTheBeatenPath
