Japan | Izu Travel (1)🌟
Visiting Izu makes you realize that places from manga really do exist! 🌇🌿 When planning a trip to Japan, don't just focus on Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara. Izu is incredibly beautiful and well worth a visit! It's only a 2-hour trip from Tokyo and serves as a backyard paradise for locals. 1️⃣ How to Plan Your Trip and How Long to Stay? Izu is divided into four main areas: Eastern Izu, Central Izu, Southern Izu, and Western Izu. The regions are generally ranked by popularity.❗️ (Check the last image for a map of attractions compiled by Xiaojing.) 🌇🌿Eastern Izu: 1-2 days. This area has the most famous attractions, including "Matcha Mountain" Mt. Omuro, Toyama Coast and its suspension bridge, the Cactus Zoo (where you can see pikachu-like cacti), and Komuroyama. Central Izu: 1-2 days. Known for its hot springs, bamboo forests, and temples. Key spots include Shuzenji, Izu Panorama Park (with views of Mount Fuji), and Oirase Waterfall. Southern and Western Izu: Focus on coastal scenery. Recommended for 3 days or more. 🌇🌿 Southern Izu has many attractions spread out, with famous cherry blossoms🌸 in Kawazu. Western Izu has less convenient transportation, so these areas are best explored by car or if you have ample time. #Izu 🌇🌿
