Kobe's Magical Animal Kingdom is a massive greenhouse covering an area of 160,000 square meters, so even if the weather isn't great, it won't much affect your visit. Most importantly, there's no crowding, the number of visitors is moderate, and the experience is fantastic! Here, you can have zero-distance contact with many animals, including sika deer, alpacas, rabbits, penguins, guinea pigs, and the internet-famous capybara (the water hog), among others. Each area in the park sells various animal foods, which you can buy to feed them. Daily performances by birds or sea lions and other animals are held, charmingly entertaining people. This place is perfect for children and animal lovers and is a great spot for family outings. There's a restaurant inside with children's meals available. It's very convenient to get here by bus, and it's just over half an hour from Osaka. If you're coming from Nara, it's also very convenient; take the Kintetsu Nara line, no transfer needed, go directly to Kobe Sannomiya, then transfer to the Port Liner. Operating Hours: 10:00-17:00 (closed every Thursday) Admission: No reservation needed, tickets can be bought on-site. Adults 2200 JPY, ages 6-12 1200 JPY, ages 4-5 500 JPY, and ages 3 and under are free. Transportation: From Osaka - Take the Hanshin Line or JR, get off at Sannomiya Station, transfer to the Port Liner, and get off at Computer Science Center Station.
