Here is the detailed itinerary: 📌D0: Arrive at Tokyo Haneda Airport at 7 PM, go through immigration, take the Keikyu Kamata Line to Yokohama, transfer to JR to Atami Station, the whole journey takes about 2 hours. This option is slower than the Shinkansen but more cost-effective, 🏠 stay in Atami. 📌D1: Visit Atami Shiokawa Walkway to see Atami Cherry Blossoms (P3), soak in the foot bath at JR Atami Station (the parents' favorite part of the trip), then take a bus to Shuzenji. The route is: Atami JR to Shimoda Station, transfer to the Izu Hakone Retto Line to Shuzenji Station (note: cannot be used on this line), then take a 10-minute bus to the hotel. It's already past 1 PM, and the original plan was to visit Shuzen Temple for Setsubun Festival or Izu Panorama Park to see Mount Fuji (since the visibility was high that day), but unfortunately, a problem occurred on this day, a bag was left on the JR, and the whole day was spent looking for it, so the original plan did not go as expected. 🏠 Stay in Shuzenji. 📌D2: Spend a day at Shuzenji Onsen Town (P4), visit Shuzenji Gobashi, Bamboo Path, and Shuzen Temple. 🏠 Stay in Shuzenji. 📌D3: Travel from Shuzenji to Izu Atami, both bus and JR options are available.
