When it comes to traveling in Japan, many friends first think of bustling big cities like Tokyo and Osaka. However! These places are often more commercialized and homogenized, and they may not be suitable for those on a tight budget (like me). The cost-performance ratio may not be as high as you think. Let me introduce to you 5 very niche and culturally rich tourist attractions in Japan ๐๐ป 1โฃ Hoshizaki Observatory 2โฃ Senkoji Park 1โฃ Hoshizaki Observatory ๐ญ ๐ Location: Mishima-cho, Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture Deep in the mountains of Okayama Prefecture lies Hoshizaki Observatory, known as an excellent place for a "360-degree panoramic view" and an ideal spot for stargazing. The observatory is equipped with a telescope with a diameter of 101 centimeters, which is not only the leader among public observatories in Japan but also a window for us humans to delve into the mysteries of the universe. Here, we can not only feel the vastness and mystery of the universe but also appreciate humanity's desire and pursuit of the unknown. Whether you are an astronomy enthusiast or just looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle and get close to nature, this place is your best choice. 2โฃ Senkoji Park ๐ธ ๐ Location: 19 Nishidocho, Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city and are looking for a quiet corner to rest your soul, then Onomichi, a small town located in Hiroshima Prefecture with a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea and many islands, is the ideal place you have been looking for. Walking through the streets of Onomichi, you will be attracted by the unique slopes here. These winding slopes not only add to the charm of the city but also serve as a link between nature and culture. Take the mountain train, slowly ascending, passing through the hustle and bustle of the city, and arrive at Senkoji Mountain, which is 144.2 meters high. Here, you will encounter the picturesque Senkoji Park. When the cherry blossom season arrives, the cherry blossoms in Senkoji Park bloom like fairies, showing a gorgeous and colorful posture. There are many varieties of cherry blossoms in this park, including Somei Yoshino, weeping cherry, and yaezakura, with a total of about 1500 trees, forming a sea of pink and being selected as one of "Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots." Standing on the observation deck at the top of Senkoji Mountain, we can overlook the entire city of Onomichi and the Seto Inland Sea. The sea and sky are one color, the sparkling sea surface and the undulating mountains complement each other, forming a beautiful picture. The blooming cherry blossoms add to the beauty, bringing us a feast for the eyes. There are many more off-the-beaten-path attractions in Japan. Due to space limitations, I will share more with you next time~ ๐ฅ Friends in the comments section, feel free to share your photos taken during your trip to Japan.
