🏮 Japanese Ancient Town - A Day Trip to Kurashiki's

Visiting Kansai and tired of the crowds in Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe? Besides exploring south to Wakayama, taking a train to the west of Kansai is also a great choice~ Today, I'm sharing with you a 🇯🇵 lesser-known attraction in western Kansai - Kurashiki's👉 Before going, I learned that Kurashiki's is a Japanese ancient town with nearly 400 years of history. I thought it would be similar to Kyoto, but after visiting, I found the styles to be completely different! 🤣 Kurashiki's is known for its white-walled warehouses, tile-roofed walls, and willow-lined streets. The entire area is filled with old residences of great modern families that have become cultural heritage sites. The streets formed by these nearly 400-year-old traditional buildings, combined with the retro-modern scenery by the Kurashiki River, truly captivated me as a tourist 🤩 📍 Kurashiki's Area 🚅 Kurashiki Station 🏠 It's recommended to stay in Okayama, where hotels offer good value for money, and there are plenty of dining and entertainment options. (It's only a 17-minute trip from Okayama Station to Kurashiki Station) 🤟 Kurashiki's specialty is denim and canvas products. The banks of the Kurashiki River are lined with shops selling denim and canvas, as well as various old houses turned into cafes. It's easy to spend a relaxing afternoon here 😆 🛶 Kurashiki River Cruise Ticket Location 📍 Kurashikikan Tourist Information Center Price 💰 Adults 500, Children 250 Operating Hours 🕰 9:30-17:00 🏛 Ohara Museum of Art (Established in 1930, it is the oldest private museum in Japan centered on Western art) Price 💰 2000 #MostBeautifulAncientTownStrategy #MyOffTheBeatenPathTravelTips #TravelDiary #Travel #MobilePhotography #JapaneseStyle #Japan #KansaiTravel #Kurashiki #Kurashiki Area #Okayama #KurashikiDenim #KurashikiCanvas
