Japanese Curry and Pork Cutlet in New York: Katsu-Hama π
Living in the Village, I was craving curry pork cutlet rice so badly! I finally decided to head to New York. This place has a lot of good reviews, and the Google ratings and scores looked promising, so I decided to give it a try. π’ I arrived at 12:30 PM on a Saturday, and the restaurant was bustling with people. There was a line, and I waited for about 10 minutes. π°οΈ πΈI ordered the Salmon Sashimi Appetizer and the Surprise Katsu Curry B set. The salmon sashimi came with four slices, but it had bones, so I wouldn't recommend it! π π The curry rice included a 60g pork cutlet, a 70g chicken cutlet, a piece of Karaage chicken, and a shrimp. The Karaage chicken was amazing! It was tender and flavorfulβI loved it. The shrimp was also good. In comparison, the pork and chicken cutlets were crispy but a bit bland in flavor. However, overall, it was still very good! I'll definitely come back. π The curry was delicious too. The miso soup and cabbage salad that came with it were also nice. The portion was huge, and I had three pieces of cutlet left over. π ποΈThe service was great, and the final price with tip was $50. The curry rice set was $28. #NYCFood #JapaneseCurryRice #NewYorkLife
