Jazz Age and Penicillin's Birthplace Bars | New York 🍸
This time, I visited a few really interesting bars with my friends in New York. If you’re in Midtown and looking for a nice place with a Speakeasy and Jazz Age vibe, I highly recommend The Campbell, hidden inside Grand Central Station. 🗽 It’s said to be transformed from a private office of a financier, John William Campbell, in the 1920s. The interior is full of Jazz Age charm, and their house cocktails are really good. I tried a Vodka-based Matcha Maker. 🍸 The second one is Attaboy, near Soho in the Lower East Side. It’s now ranked 22nd in the world and was once the place where the famous Australian Sam Ross invented the Penicillin cocktail. 🗽 It used to be called Milk & Honey but is now known as Attaboy. The vibe inside is like a mysterious tunnel, which is super appealing. You need to go early to get a number. For Scotch Whiskey lovers, their Penicillin is the best I’ve ever had. 🥃 🔹 The Campbell 15 Vanderbilt Ave, New York, NY 10017 📍 🔸 Attaboy 134 Eldridge St, New York, NY 10002 📍 #NewYorkBars 🍸 #NYCAdventures 🗽 #Cocktails 🥃
