Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha 🎨

Located not far from downtown Omaha, the Joslyn Art Museum beautifully blends old and new architecture. The new wing—opened just about six months ago—boasts gorgeous natural lighting ☀️. The design in Figure 3 reminded me a bit of the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia! The historic building’s courtyard is pure Italian Renaissance and Neoclassical charm 🏛️. I did a quick one-hour tour 🕐 and explored sections featuring Ancient Greek and Roman art 🏺, European paintings 🖼️, and Native American cultural works. Sadly, I didn’t have time for the new wing’s American contemporary collection or the railway exhibit 🚂. Still, I spotted works by famous artists like Titian, Rembrandt, Monet, Renoir, and Degas 👨‍🎨!
