Just Checked Out from voco The Hague! ✨ Honest Travel Tips
As part of my 70-day Europe trip (May-July 2024), I’m reviewing hotels/B&Bs 🏨—covering location, design, service, amenities, and food—to help you plan better! 📍 City: The Hague, Netherlands 🇳🇱 🏨 Hotel: voco The Hague (IHG Group) Quick Facts Historic 1923 former bank building 🏦 IHG’s voco brand—modern meets heritage My Review ✔ Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ City center—steps from Tram 1 (to the beach/Delft) 3-5 mins walk to Mauritshuis Museum 🖼️ 15 mins to Central Station, 10 mins to Chinatown 🥢, 15 mins to Peace Palace Most attractions are walkable! ✔ Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Standard, nothing extra—but efficient. ✔ Design: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fresh, stylish vibe 🌿 ✔ Hardware: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ New & well-maintained, super quiet rooms 🔇 Small fridge, capsule coffee maker (but no slippers/robe/kettle 😅) WiFi strong but reconnects needed. ✔ Breakfast: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Queue on weekends (2-10 mins), but decent spread—no wow factor, but filling! Pro Tip: If exploring the Netherlands, stay in The Hague! 🚆 Cheaper than Amsterdam (4-star here ≈ Ibis there) Easy trains to Amsterdam/Rotterdam/small towns Tap-to-pay with credit card for transit! 🍜 Food Rec: Uncle Kitchen (大叔食堂)—huge portions, €15-20/person. Skip the €30 huiguorou next door—tiny portion! Final Verdict: ✅ Great value! Near station, walkable to sights, strong amenities, good breakfast. Not perfect, but no big flaws—a solid pick in The Hague! Hope this helps! 💙 #TheHague #NetherlandsTravel #vocoHotels #IHG #TravelTips #DutchFood #HotelReview
