Just went to Richmond for some good eats—the beef shank is HUGE!
This beef shank can totally rival the one I had at that Korean spot in Lougheed!! Both are massive, but this one costs 18.75 per bowl, which is actually over 2 cheaper than the Korean place! The broth is originally non-spicy, but the server asked if I wanted to add some heat—of course I went for medium spice 😆 (I love that numbing, spicy kick!). Beef Shank Rice Noodles 🍜 For meat lovers, this is a must-try! The beef shank is braised until super tender—it falls right off the bone, and the meat pulls apart easily. One bite = pure satisfaction! It also comes with pea shoots, bean sprouts, cabbage, carrots, and other veggies. Plus, you can choose your spice level—this totally won me over! Braised Pork Rice Noodle Bowl ($16.95) 🥢 Three big chunks of tender, bouncy braised pork, plus minced pork with pickled long beans, pickled bamboo shoots, pickled chilies, garlic, and cilantro. The rich, oily broth mixed with the tangy, pickled flavors—one big slurp and you can’t help but smile 😌 (I’m obsessed with noodles!). Side Dish: Spicy Shredded Kelp Salad 🌿 I’m a total kelp fan, and this one was garlicky with a mild kick—so good! Pro Tip: Used 🍙 to pay and saved a bit of money~ 💸 📍 Xiang Yuan Qiao Yunnan Cross Bridge Rice Noodle (RMD) #VancouverFood #Richmond #RiceNoodles #MeatLoversParadise #RichmondEats
