Kalkan｜A Hidden Gem Hotel You Can't Miss Along D400 🌊✨

The D400 highway from Fethiye to Antalya is renowned as one of the world's top 10 most beautiful coastal roads! 💙 This scenic route passes iconic spots like Love Rock, Butterfly Valley, and the famous Kaputas Beach. For our Turkey trip, we specially reserved three nights to experience the magical Mediterranean glow of bioluminescent "blue tears." 🌌 🏨 Hotel: We chose Villa Mahal near Kalkan town, just a 10-minute drive from the Instagram-famous Kaputas Beach. Visiting during off-season meant we practically had the whole place to ourselves - only two other rooms were occupied! 👑 Note: The hotel requires a minimum 3-night stay and doesn't allow children, which might not suit families or those with tight schedules. 🥂 Dining: The hotel's cliffside restaurant offers breathtaking sea views from tables literally perched above the waves! 🌊 Reservations are essential, and the restaurant closes during bad weather (always check ahead). While open to the public, hotel guests get priority. This was hands-down our best meal in Turkey - every dish was perfection!
