Key West Travel|Manage Your Expectations 🙈
Key West’s main attractions are all clustered in Downtown, and there aren’t that many exciting things to do—just casual strolls and water activities. 🌅 Attractions 1️⃣ Southernmost Point Just a photo-op spot (long lines, not worth the hype). 2️⃣ Mallory Square Famous sunset spot, but overcrowded. 3️⃣ Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park Another sunset option, but entry fee required for cars. 4️⃣ Dry Tortugas National Park A 2.5hr boat ride to a tiny island with an old prison and snorkeling spots. $190 boat ticket + needs early booking. Honest take: Not worth the time/money—rough waves + underwhelming views. 🏊♀️ Water Activities • Fury Company Offers parasailing, jet skis, banana boats, etc. (Check their website). • Lazy Dog Kayak Tours (Day/Night): 2-hour kayaking through mangroves + guides show you starfish/jellyfish! Tip: Do the night tour if daytime is too hot. 🏠 Accommodation Expensive in Key West—stay farther out if you have a car (easy street parking downtown). No car? Just pick any Downtown spot (all similar). 1-night stay is enough. 🥩 Food Delicious! (Details in my next post 👀). #MiamiTravelGuide #KeyWest #LowerYourExpectations
