🌟 Kichijoji is undoubtedly the happiest street in Tokyo! So Japanese

📺 Have you seen the Japanese drama "Is Kichijoji the Only Street You Want to Live In?" Only when you're here do you understand why Kichijoji is the most desirable place to live. The narrow streets filled with the passing of boys and girls on bicycles are so Japanese drama-like! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️ 🍽️ There are shops for eating, drinking, and entertainment, as well as large shopping malls. Many small shops even take days off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and even Sundays, which is a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. It's very lively and full of life, but everyone should check Google Maps before heading out to avoid disappointment. 🗺️ 🦢 Inogashira Park: A Blessing from the Wellhead Highly recommended for a whole day's stay, this park is incredibly beautiful with many trees and a beautiful lake at the center. You can rent swan boats 🦢 for 💰800, and rowing boats for 500. There are also small temples for praying and drawing lots, and buying amulets, etc. I drew a small fortune! The café feels like it's hidden in the trees, full of animation vibes. ☕ 🛍️ Shopping Malls: The commercial scene is also very developed, but don't expect luxury brands here. They are very lifestyle brands: The mall has PARCO, Tokyu Department Store, and a seven-story Uniqlo with Kichijoji limited edition T-shirts, hoodies, canvas bags, etc., that can be customized on the spot. 👕👖 ⚠️ Outdoor Brands: Highly recommend outdoor brands like Oshman's, which has The North Face Purple Label, Arc'teryx, Patagonia, all at 40% off compared to domestic prices! And they offer direct tax refunds. 💧 Sizes are very complete, maybe because there are fewer people. 🥿 Second-hand: Outbound is a buyer's shop with everything from home goods to jewelry and clothing. RAGTAG Kichijoji has a great selection! They also have second-hand bags from big brands like Fendi. 👜 🥣 Puku Puku: A shop selling second-hand porcelain, exquisite dishes, some dating back to the Meiji era, some are antiques. I bought tea cups and bowls to take back, not expensive but all very beautiful! 🍵 💼 Menui: A shop for rattan bags and baskets, perfect for beach vacations. Each one is unique. 🧺 🍚 What to Eat: 🍢🍦 Yakiniku Diner Yamato Kichijoji-Minami: A yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant, Satou beef balls, Amamori taiyaki (sea bream-shaped fish-shaped cake), Craft Soy Milk Factory, a 100% handmade soy milk specialty store with oolong tea soy milk, blueberry soy milk, soy milk ice cream, and even salty soy milk and tofu pudding! 🍦 #WinterTravelBucketList #Japan #Tokyo #Kichijoji #TokyoTravel #HiddenWinterInSmallTowns #KichijojiExploration #TokyoCityWalk #JapaneseDrama #DailyLifeWithAnime
