Kiyosumi Shirakawa: A Place That Sounds as Beautiful as It Is 🌸
Located along the Sumida River in Tokyo’s shitamachi area, Kiyosumi Shirakawa is the perfect spot for a solo city walk. 🚶♀️ 🌸 The exquisite and picturesque Kiyosumi Garden is adorned with irises in shades of blue, purple, pink, and white in June, and hydrangeas of the same color palette begin to bloom in succession. 🌸 The garden is small enough that strolling around it twice at a leisurely pace won’t tire you out. 🌸 The Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo has spacious, bright exhibition halls. 🌇🌿 On weekdays, it’s not crowded, making it ideal for a slow and careful viewing of the exhibits. 🎨 🌸I visited the Blue Bottle Coffee shop and waited in line for about ten minutes. The industrial interior design is very chill, and the coffee was surprisingly delicious. ☕️ 🌸 In fact, this area is filled with so many roasteries and coffee shops that it’s a paradise for coffee lovers—it’s like a mouse falling into a rice jar! 🐁 The streets are beautiful, with just the right temperature and sunshine, making you want to put your phone away and simply enjoy the scenery as you walk. 🌇🌿 Occasionally, you might stop to daydream and think, “How wonderful it would be to live here!” 🌿 #KiyosumiShirakawa #Citywalk #BlueBottleCoffee 🌇🌿
