Kobe | The World of Miyazaki Animation - Rokko and Maya Mountains(1)
🌅Rokko and Maya Mountains are connected. You can easily visit them without much walking by taking a mini train + cable car + bus. We heard that by around 3 p.m., there are only a few lambs left at the Rokko Mountain Pasture, but we didn't want to wake up early 😂. 🌅So, we chose to visit the upper part of Rokko Mountain and the lower part of Maya Mountain. This way, we could spend two hours at the pasture 🍃 with the lambs 🐑 in the afternoon and still ride both the mini train and the cable car on both mountains! Our route was like this: 1️⃣ Step One: From Sannomiya Station to Rokko Station 🌅Take the JR Hankyu Line, and you'll get there quickly. 2️⃣ Step Two: From Rokko Mountain to the Rokko Cable Car Lower Station Take bus No. 16 from Rokko Station and ride to the end. 3️⃣ Step Three: From the Rokko Cable Car Lower Station to the Upper Station 🌅Buy your cable car ticket at the lower station, and then you can take the mini train 🚄 up the mountain. The windows of the mini train are open, and it passes through a lush forest. 🌅 The hydrangeas beside the train are in full bloom, making it feel like a scene from a fairy tale. 🌸 3️⃣ Step Three: From the Rokko Cable Car Upper Station to the Rokko Pasture Right outside the cable car upper station is the bus stop. Take bus No. 2 🚌, and you'll go directly to the pasture. 🌅However, bus No. 2 comes only once an hour 🕑. If you have some time to kill before the bus arrives, it's quite interesting to wander around Rokko Mountain. 🌅 Note⚠️ that you can't use an Icoca card on bus No. 2, but you can pay with a credit card or cash. It's better to bring some cash just in case. #Kobe 🌿
