Konban | Izakaya Near Chelsea⭐️

I recently tried out the newly opened Izakaya near Chelsea, and I have to say, it was an absolute delight! 🌟 Tenderloin Katsu (Pork Cutlet) This dish is their signature, and it truly lives up to the hype. The pork is incredibly tender, almost melting in your mouth. The batter is crispy on the outside, perfectly complementing the juicy meat inside. It’s like a symphony of textures and flavors! 🍖 Sabazushi (Vinegared Mackerel Sushi) This was another standout dish. The mackerel is fresh and flavorful, with just the right amount of vinegar in the rice. It’s a perfect balance of savory and tangy, making it a must-try! 🍣 Uni Shari (Sea Urchin on Rice) 🆗 I was a bit hesitant about this one, but it turned out to be quite enjoyable. The sea urchin is creamy and rich, with a subtle sweetness that pairs well with the rice. It’s definitely worth a try if you’re feeling adventurous! 🦀 Niku Udon (Beef Udon) The broth of this dish is simply divine. It’s rich, flavorful, and has a depth that you don’t often find. And their noodles are all handmade, which gives them a unique texture and taste. You can really tell the difference when you bite into them. 🍜 Corn Ice Cream 🥧 While the rest of the menu was fantastic, the corn ice cream was a bit too sweet for my taste. It’s a unique flavor, but I found it a bit overwhelming. If you’re not a fan of overly sweet desserts, you might want to skip this one. 🆗 It might be hard to get a reservation on Resy right now, but you can try calling to book a table. 🫡 #NewYork #Izakaya #MustTry
