Korean beef omakase in NY--Wangbi
1️⃣ Citrus Lettuce Salad: The taste is average, but the presentation is very beautiful. 2️⃣ Raw Beef & Sea Urchin Toast: These are two very delicate appetizers. The raw beef is tender and chewy, and the large pieces of sea urchin are incredibly fresh and sweet. Delicious! 3️⃣ Beef Neck: This is where the grilled meat starts. The first piece is lean, with excellent meat quality and a strong beef flavor. 4️⃣ Thinly Sliced Beef Short Ribs: The marbling is very pretty and the texture is superb!! It's so good that you can't get enough. 5️⃣ Flat Iron Steak: The beef is marinated in a savory and sweet soy sauce, making it very flavorful and delicious even without any dipping sauce. When this dish was served, they also provided cold noodle dish to cleanse the palate for the next course. 6️⃣ Prime Ribeye: It's freshly sliced from a large ribeye, and it's incredibly fragrant when grilled!! Especially the two dice-shaped pieces of beef on the side, which are tender and juicy. 7️⃣ Mushroom Beef Brisket Rice: A set that includes mushroom rice, marinated beef short ribs, miso soup, and kimchi. Each component tastes great. By this point, we were already very full!!
