Tokyo โข Old Furukawa Garden โข The Witch's Golden Land ๐ธ ๐๐ธ The Old Furukawa Garden is a very authentic Western-style villa from the Taisho era, a masterpiece by the British architect Josiah Conder, who had a profound influence on Japanese architecture. ๐ฐ This villa and garden are the prototypes for "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" (When They Cry), and Figure 3 is the Golden Land. ๐ ๐๐ธ However, outside the quintessential English-style villa and small garden lies a much larger Japanese-style garden.
