L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Vegas – One Michelin Star ⭐

With so many glowing reviews and having missed out last year, my expectations were sky-high… maybe a bit too high! 😅 In all honesty, only the first course—a velvety foie gras parfait served in a glass (sorry, no photo!)—truly stood out. 🍷 It was smooth like yogurt, with three perfect layers that created an amazing balance of flavors. A totally different vibe from the rich foie gras rice bowl I enjoyed at Raku the day before! The other dishes, though… felt a bit ordinary. 🫢 Three dumpling-like bites were overly salty, and while the final meat course was tasty, the portion was pretty small. Seems like the chef knew it might not be filling—they brought an extra bowl of mashed potatoes on the side! 🥔 Desserts kept coming—the cherry dessert was lovely 🍒, but the cake was just okay. By the end, I was seriously overwhelmed by the sweetness! 🍰😵 A quick tip: there aren’t many tables, so if you prefer not to sit at the counter, make a note when you reserve! Thankfully I had a filling lunch at Hell’s Kitchen, because the $255 tasting menu alone wouldn’t have been enough for me! 🫠 Have you been to L'Atelier in Vegas? What was your experience—did it live up to the hype? Share your thoughts below! 👇 #LasVegasFood #Michelin #MGM
