Seafood lovers absolutely cannot miss Hayato’s winter menu – the ultimate kaiseki experience in LA. Every course left me deeply satisfied. 🍤 Opener: California spiny lobster, lightly charcoal-grilled – just cooked on the outside, still tender and rich inside. 🦀 Hokkaido Female Snow Crab All the crab meat is picked and mixed with crab roe – so delicious I wanted another bowl! 🥣 Most Memorable & Worth It: Snow crab congee Packed with crab meat and roe simmered into the rice – not a hint of fishiness, just explosive sweetness 🤯. There was almost more crab roe than rice – truly unforgettable, the highlight I look forward to every winter. 🐚 Followed by: Abalone with liver sauce, charcoal-grilled kinmedai with onion – each dish a cholesterol-packed delight 🤩🤩.
