🍜 LA | Affordable Michelin Eats: Luv2eat – Good but Not Mind-Blowing
Just my personal take! The food is tasty, but not worth driving an hour in rush hour for! 🚗💨 📍 6660 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028 🅿️ Free parking available 📅 Walk-ins only – no reservations. I arrived around 5:40 PM on a weekday and got seated right away. 🦀 Pucket Style Crab Curry Soup (Boneless) Went for the shell-free version 🦀✨. Tasted like a solid Thai curry — nothing extraordinary, but pairing it with the rice noodles made it more interesting! A decent order. 🍚 + Rice Noodles Combo 🥩 Moo Ping (Grilled Pork Skewers) Yum 😋! But HUGE — seriously, these skewers are no joke. We over-ordered for three people. Flavor reminded me of "Crying Tiger" — sweet, savory, well-marinated. 🍜 Jade Noodle with 3 BBQ Meats Pretty overrated, tbh 🫢. The green veggie noodles looked nice, but the BBQ meats couldn’t compare to Cantonese-style char siu or roast duck. Also, the meat was a bit tough — not recommending this one! 🥥 Tom Kha Soup (Coconut Version) A milder, creamier take on tom yum. Went with “mild” and got zero spice — maybe the coconut milk tamed it too much 🥛🌶️. Next time, sticking to classic tom yum. 🥬 Papaya Salad Fresh and tangy — your standard, refreshing Thai papaya salad. Nothing standout, but it hit the spot. 👛 Price: Around $40–50 per person. We over-ordered — you could easily keep it under $40. Definitely affordable for a Michelin spot! ⭐ Overall: As a Michelin-recognized restaurant, it didn’t leave a strong impression. I’d rather go to a great Thai spot closer to home (rec coming soon! 👀). But if you’re nearby or traffic’s light — sure, give it a try! 👍 #ThaiFood #Luv2Eat #MichelinEats #AffordableFineDining #LAFoodie #EatLikeALocal #LAThai
