La Fonda Plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico—A Must-Visit Destination 🏜️✨
Restaurant + Museum + Hotel Restaurant Name: La Plazuela at La Fonda. Originally drawn in by the beautiful indoor atrium dining area, but soon discovered that the hotel itself is a fascinating attraction too! 🌟 🌟 Built in 1922, this historic century-old hotel is filled with vintage objects and descriptive plaques from its early days. The walls are adorned with colorful lamps and vibrant murals that are both playful and captivating. 🖼️💡 It's said that the interior rooms are also beautifully preserved with classic charm. The ballroom absolutely stole my heart! The lighting, the fireplace, the dance floor 💃, and the raised platform for newlyweds' speeches—it’s the perfect intimate wedding venue. I was utterly delighted! ❤️🎉 🌟 The hotel showcases an impressive collection of paintings and handmade crafts that could easily rival a formal museum exhibition. Each piece reflects strong local cultural influences, making it a joy to wander slowly and take it all in. 🎨🖌️ 🌟 The restaurant itself features a stunning glass-ceiling atrium with natural light pouring in ☀️. The doors and windows are made of beautiful stained glass, and there's even a small fountain ⛲️ inside. The dining atmosphere is lovely and relaxing—though the food was just okay (not bad, but not amazing either). The chicken salad was huge—three full slices! 🥗😮 But the starter bread was delicious! 🥖✨ All in all, this is a spot well worth visiting. Highly recommend stopping by for a meal and taking your time exploring the hotel. Especially in New Mexico… finding a cool indoor activity is a rare treat! ❄️🏜️ #NewMexico #SantaFe #TravelNewMexico #USATravel #ArchitecturalPhotography #HistoricHotel #LocalArt #FoodAndCulture #Wanderlust #WorthAVisit #Wanderer #TravelDiary #HiddenGems #AtriumDining
