LA🏮 Hidden Gem Izakaya Spot

📍 Izakaya Tora|8908 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069 A spot I haven’t seen much about online—tucked away in West Hollywood’s lively Weho neighborhood (my first time there, so vibrant! Not far from campus, and even during rush hour it wasn’t too crowded 🚗💨). The decor feels very American, but the flavors? Surprisingly authentic and delicious—not what you’d expect from the outside! We ordered a variety of hand-held bites, and everything was super fresh. Especially recommend the tuna sampler—high-quality cuts that melt in your mouth! 🍣✨ The menu is diverse: yakitori, sashimi, sushi, noodles, rice bowls—you name it. They even offer a separate sushi omakase option ($80 for 10 pieces). The yakitori was tasty, but if you’re not into sweet-glazed skewers, maybe skip those. Maybe because we sat at the bar, near the end of our meal, they gifted us a complimentary sashimi plate—beautifully presented and fresh. Nice touch! 🎁 Have you discovered any low-key izakayas in LA?
