Located just a 7-minute walk from the Chinese Theatre on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Pink Pepper offers affordable and delicious Thai food that totally suits the Asian palate β highly recommended! π π₯ Thai Egg Roll Tastes just like our spring rolls β crispy and golden, served with sweet chili sauce for dipping. π₯£ Tom Yum Koong (Shrimp) We got the version without coconut milk β light and tangy! We chose medium spice πΆοΈ, which had a little kick but wasnβt overwhelming. As everyone in LA knows β once the sun sets, it gets chilly π₯Ά, totally different from the daytime. A warm bowl of tom yum really hits the spot! π Khao Sai β Beef Short Rib The beef on top was a generous portion β so tender it melted in the mouth. The noodles were soaked in rich, flavorful broth, and came in two textures: one soft from simmering in the soup, and one slightly firmer, like a noodle cake not fully soaked yet. Double the satisfaction! ππ₯ We wanted to try more from the menu, but just these three dishes were enough to fill us up! The price is very reasonable β unlike many spots in the US where you easily spend $50+ per person without even feeling satisfied. This place is definitely my new favorite Thai spot! π We originally planned to go to another Thai restaurant nearby, but it was closed.
