Las Vegas’ Newest Hotel: Durango 🎰✨

If you’re tired of the same old hotels on the Strip, this is your best choice yet! Located in the southwest part of the city, Durango just opened right before Christmas 🎄, and we were lucky enough to be invited by the Station Casinos group to stay for a few days—and we totally fell in love with it! (It’s part of the same group as Red Rock and Palace Station—so your rewards points work across all of them! 💳) The rooms are modern, minimalist, and super clean—no complaints there. But the real highlight is the casino environment on the first floor: the lighting is soft, the music is perfectly chosen, and even the cocktail servers are carefully selected—no grumpy aunts in sight! 😉 What’s especially rare is how warm and friendly the staff are—from the dealers to the pit bosses to the drink servers. It feels like it’s part of their company culture. Unlike some MGM properties where you might encounter trans dealers that make you uncomfortable, or dealers who won’t let you smoke, or give you attitude—Durango has none of that. Everyone is genuinely welcoming. 👏 Dining options are plentiful too: burgers 🍔, café bites ☕, Chinese food 🥢, sushi 🍣, an oyster bar 🦪, and pizza 🍕—all at very reasonable prices. We really didn’t want to leave—already planning our next visit! 💖 Have you been to Durango yet? What’s your favorite off-Strip hotel in Vegas?
