Las Vegas|A Must-Visit for Japanese Food Lovers – Shigotonin 🍣
A Japanese spot my friend took me to—totally in love! 😍😍 Fresh and delicious! The daily menu seems to change, and the owner brings a chalkboard to your table to introduce each item—even shows you photos! A really nice touch 👍🏼 Besides the chalkboard, there’s also a regular menu to choose from. 🔸 Grilled Squid 🦑 Tender squid with a light smoky char—I really liked it! Served with a wasabi-mayo style dip. 🔸 Sashimi Platter Super fresh sashimi—just look at that thickness! No need for lengthy reviews—it’s simply delicious. 🔸 Special Hokkaido Sushi Box Salmon, crab, uni, salmon roe, and scallop over seasoned rice 🍱 Mix before eating—the sashimi is incredibly fresh and pairs perfectly with the rice. 🔸 Special Chutoro Sakura Bluefin tuna, uni, salmon roe, and minced tuna over rice 🍱 The whole slice of tuna is huge, fatty, and rich—could get rich after a while, but the texture is amazing. 🔸 Snow Crab & Uni Hand Roll Lots of hand roll options—I picked this one for the uni! The uni was super fresh, sweet, and not fishy at all 🥺 Loved it! (The snow crab flavor was subtle though.) The nori was super crispy! 🔸 Sweet Shrimp Marinated in Soy Sauce These sweet shrimp were so good! We were a group of four and only got one each—I wanted more! 😂 You can ask to have the heads fried, but I thought they were just okay. Overall, a meal here isn’t cheap, but the quality is outstanding and everything tastes amazing! Highly recommended for Japanese food enthusiasts ♥️ Reservations recommended. 📍 Shigotonin Japanese Tapas & Sake Golden Spring Plaza, 5845 Spring Mountain Rd Unit 7, Las Vegas, NV 89146 #StudyInUSA #LasVegas #JapaneseFood #DateNightSpot #JapaneseDining #FoodDiary
