Las Vegas|An Omakase Roundup No One Can Resist 🔥

Having moved from NYC to Vegas almost a month ago — from traveler to local — I finally have time to try some omakase spots I missed on shorter trips. Here’s my take on the three I’ve tried so far (purely personal taste!). If you have other recommendations, drop them in the comments! 1st – My top pick: Kaiseki Yuzu 🍣 Despite the name “Kaiseki,” sushi makes up a good portion — feels more like a sushi omakase. Loved the baby squid appetizer and the iron-grilled salmon with Wagyu — sauce was perfectly matched, wanted seconds! No drinks, after tax ~$200+ per person — great value. Definitely add this to your Vegas list! 2nd – Most recommended on social media: Kame (former 2-Michelin star)😂🙌 Tried the $350 course — after tax & tip, ~$500 per person. It was delicious — all the essentials were there, with beautiful tableware and plating. But at that price, NYC offers stronger options — not the best value for me. 3rd – Kabuto Edomae Sushi Another good-value spot. Dinner pricing varies daily — that night it was $75 / $120, we chose $120.😘😁 Booked last-minute, so no counter seats (a bit of a bummer), but still enjoyable. Except for the oyster being slightly fishy that day, the tuna appetizer with tofu was delicious! Sushi was solid across the board — nothing mind-blowing, but above average. Final thought: Friends from NY — don’t judge Vegas omakase by NYC standards.👌😊 You won’t find overly fancy toppings or exceptional cooking techniques here, but they’re decent and satisfying for what’s available locally. #LasVegasJapanese #LasVegasOmakase #LasVegasEats #VegasOmakase #VegasFinds
