Las Vegas|Japanese Yakitori — Toridokoro Raku 🍢
This time in Las Vegas, I followed my sister 💃 Straight to Raku for our first meal — she’d been before and couldn’t stop thinking about it! And honestly… it did not disappoint. So incredibly delicious 😋 1️⃣ Waitlist & Reservations Highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation — this place is super popular! If you go slightly off-peak hours, it’s easier to get a table. We ate until past 10 PM, and by then tables started freeing up. 2️⃣ Main Dish Highlight 🪿 Foie Gras Don The portion isn’t huge, but it’s surprisingly filling because of the rich foie gras. It can be a tad rich, but pairing it with the fresh lettuce underneath balances it nicely. The sauce is also delicious 😋 Best shared between two — otherwise you might be too full for skewers! 3️⃣ Yakitori Skewers We ordered: wing, thigh, gizzard, heart, skin, cartilage, tail, garlic, mushroom, and mochi. Every single one was tasty — no misses! My personal favorites: ❤️ Heart — sauce is a bit salty but so flavorful 🫀 Gizzard — sprinkled with salt, super crisp and tender 🍗 Skin — perfectly crispy and charred 🍡 Mochi — MUST ORDER! Chewy, grilled, wrapped in nori — absolutely divine 🐔 Tail — Tried it for the first time, actually quite tender, not weird at all! 🍺 Pro tip: Order an Asahi with your skewers — beer + yakitori = forever unbeatable. So refreshing! 😋 #Yakitori #JapaneseIzakaya #JapaneseFood #JapanVibes #LasVegas #VegasFood
