Las Vegas|The Most Expensive Omakase: Sushi Kame 🍣

Sushi Kame offers a top-tier Japanese culinary experience in Las Vegas, masterfully blending Kaiseki traditions with modern fusion. ✨ In this era of soaring prices, nothing stays the same—my first visit was five years ago at 250 per person, and now the price has risen to 500 per person ($350 for lunch). 😱 Honestly, I have to say the meal felt a bit overpriced… 😂 But there was a major silver lining! We booked the 5:30 PM seating and, to our surprise, we were the only guests! It felt like we had a private, customized "buyout" of the entire sushi counter. 🥢 The chef patiently explained every single dish, detailing the origin of each ingredient. The entire exquisite experience took about an hour and a half. ⏳ The menu followed a beautiful Kaiseki fusion route: 🍵 Chawan Mushi (Savory Egg Custard) - A perfect, warm start to awaken the palate. 🦞 Lobster Carpaccio - Incredibly fresh, thin slices of lobster. 🍣 A series of seasonal sashimi and sushi - The highlight, featuring the day's finest catches. 🥩 A5 Wagyu Hot Pot - Unbelievably tender and rich. 🍝 Freshly Made Uni (Sea Urchin) Pasta - A luxurious and unique finale! The semi-private, intimate experience definitely helped justify the cost a little more! 💎 💡 Reservation Tips: The chef mentioned that their clientele is mostly tourists, and during the off-season, reservations are actually quite plentiful. It seems even the once "impossible-to-book" Sushi Kame is feeling the economic slowdown. I managed to secure a reservation just by calling one day in advance! 📞 However, be warned—it gets booked up quickly during major concert weekends or holidays! Have you tried an omakase in Vegas? What was your experience? Is splurging on a meal like this worth it for you?
