Las Vegas|This Steamed Fish Totally Raised the Bar! 🐟✨
Wing Lei at Wynn — a long-established Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant 🏮 Finally managed to book a table! I’d wanted to dine here on my last two trips but couldn’t get a reservation. This time, since we were in town for Fish Leong’s concert, we booked for 10 PM and kept the order light. 🐟 Steamed Australian Spotted Garoupa This dish had been on my must-try list forever — and it absolutely blew my mind! The fish itself was exceptional, but the steaming technique was flawless — tender, juicy, and bursting with freshness. The server even deboned it tableside. 💯 Yes, it’s pricey at $298, but worth every penny for a special occasion. 🥩 Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin with Garlic Chips Tasty, but not particularly memorable. 🍽 Wynn Appetizer Platter Highly recommended! 👑 The king crab salad stood out — served with perfectly ripe avocado and a tangy dressing that was refreshing and appetizing. 🥣 Wynn Tofu Soup We added this later, thinking a namesake dish would be a classic. Sadly, it was a letdown. It looked delicate, with finely-cut tofu resembling silk balls, but the flavor was… like drinking warm vegetable water with a hint of goji berry? 😅 Seriously lacking in seasoning. 🎂 Birthmonth Bonus Both my boyfriend and I have November birthdays, so almost every fine-dining meal this month felt like a celebration. They surprised us with a lovely apricot-flavored mini cake — and it was delicious! Overall, I really enjoyed Wing Lei and would love to return to try more of their seafood dishes. 🦞 If you’re staying at Wynn, the concierge can help with reservations — makes it much easier! #LasVegas #LasVegasFineDining #MichelinStarred #ChineseCuisine #WynnLasVegas
