Las Vegas|Whole Fish Sashimi & Lobster Pasta 🦞

After a four-and-a-half-hour drive to Las Vegas, our first stop was estiatorio Milos—a place I’d been wanting to try forever! Located on the first floor of The Venetian, we ordered three of their recommended dishes. 🍽️ For the Whole Fish Sashimi and LOBSTER PASTA (which can also be made as a risotto!), you get to pick your own fish and lobster from their fresh seafood display! 🐟🦞 Across from it, there’s also a beautiful fruit and vegetable stand where you can choose fresh produce. 🥬🍋 The Eggplant is a must-order! 🍆 It’s thinly sliced, fried to a crisp chip-like texture, and stacked into a tall tower. Served with a creamy white cheese dip—it’s absolutely delicious! 😋 The Whole Fish Sashimi was incredibly fresh. The seasoning is totally different from Japanese sashimi—just a sprinkle of sea salt and a squeeze of lemon and lime. Super light and perfect for those who prefer clean, subtle flavors. 🍋 The Lobster Pasta was just okay—the pasta itself was a bit plain, and the seasoning leaned a bit too “basic” for my taste. But the lobster meat was fantastic! 🦞 The chef had already removed the whole claw meat from the shell and placed it right on the plate—so tender and easy to eat. With such high-quality Boston lobster, I can only imagine how amazing it would be steamed with scallion and oil… 😢 I made a reservation weeks in advance, but there were plenty of empty tables when we dined—so walking in might be possible too!
