Las Vegas|World-Famous NOBU Japanese Restaurant
Seriously, Don’t Bother Coming! 😤🍣 Let’s get straight to the point: If you grew up in Asia and know what real Japanese food should taste like—save your money and skip this place! 🙅♀️❌ But if you have Western friends who want to “try Japanese,” maybe bring them here to… broaden their horizons. 😉 We had a reservation, but still had to wait over 10 minutes past our booking time because they were “still cleaning the table.” 🕒😒 The restaurant was SO dimly lit—it was hard to even read the menu! When we asked if they had a Japanese menu, the answer was no. 🚫📖 We eat sushi and sashimi often, so we asked the server to recommend some signature dishes. The food was… okay? Portions were tiny, flavors were basic, and we were still hungry! 😩 So we added two tacos to our order: one 🐂 Wagyu Beef Taco for 20 and one 🦞 Lobster Taco for 18. When they arrived, we were shocked—each was so small, I could finish one in a single bite! 🎥 (Wish I could upload the video—check the last photo for my “one-bite quartet”!) 📸😱 We saw a table of Westerners nearby order something like a steak, and the server made a big show of flambéing it at the table. 🔥🎭 On the way to the restroom, I passed the open kitchen and noticed almost all the cooks were Mexican—only the sushi chef at the front had an Asian background. 👨🍳🌮 Even though we were still hungry (like, not-even-close-to-full hungry), we decided to just pay and leave. Ended up grabbing some cheap burgers from White Castle on the way home. 🍔😂 My boyfriend said, “Good thing I picked such a low-maintenance wife!” 💑❤️ • 📍Nobu Restaurant Las Vegas 3570 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA Have you been to NOBU?
