Las Vegas | A City Walk Guide to Avoid Backtracking
Here’s a no-backtracking guide for exploring the Las Vegas Strip! It’s best to spread this over two days, since the iconic hotels are on both sides of the Strip — trying to do it all in one day will exhaust even the toughest traveler. If you’re short on time and want a one-day speed run, make sure to start early! ⏰ Start with the Welcome to Las Vegas Sign — free parking, but go early! Midday gets packed with long lines. 📸 Tip: You don’t have to stand right in the middle — the sides are often empty. Two minutes and you’re done! 🚗 Parking Tip: We had one car and parked free at Treasure Island — our loop started and ended here! 🅿️✨ Here’s the route: 1️⃣ Caesars Palace Cross the skybridge from The Venetian. The grand statues and Roman vibe are worth seeing! 🏛️ 2️⃣ Bellagio Famous fountain show ⛲️ + stunning indoor conservatory (when we went, it was a Wizard of Oz theme — dreamy!). 3️⃣ Walk past The Cosmopolitan (luxury shopping central) to New York-New York Huge Statue of Liberty replica + a roller coaster that looks thrilling! 🗽🎢 4️⃣ Cross skybridge to Excalibur, snap a quick photo, then take the free tram to Luxor See the Sphinx + pyramid — two hotels close together, quick visit! 🐫 5️⃣ Tram back to Excalibur, walk to New York-New York, cross to Coca-Cola Store & M&M’s World (right next to each other). Both are 4 floors tall — the giant Coke bottle is hard to capture in one shot! Tried the 16 Coke flavors from around the world — interesting but very artificial 😅 Pink M&M’s are my favorite! 💖 6️⃣ Walk north on the same side to Paris Las Vegas Eiffel Tower replica is super photogenic 🗼. Restaurants below have great views — book ahead if you want to dine! 7️⃣ Flamingo Hotel (north of Paris, cross a skybridge) Real flamingos inside 🦩 + fun souvenir shop with flamingo-themed gifts. 8️⃣ The Venetian My favorite hotel for photos! Italian-style architecture + romantic bridges — take your time here! 🇮🇹📸 9️⃣ The Sphere Ran short on time, but best shots are on the approach road or from nearby parking — unobstructed views of the playful emoji animations! 🌐😊 This loop is seriously tiring — if you plan to do it all in one day, mentally prepare yourself and expect little time for leisurely browsing. I’ve sketched a simple map at the end — use it as a rough guide! 🗺️ #LasVegas #VegasChecklist #LasVegasTravel #CityWalk #NevadaTravel #TravelSmart 🚶♀️✨
