Las Vegas | L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon 🍽️
Celebrated hubby’s birthday 🎂 at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in MGM Grand — the more casual sibling of the famed Joël Robuchon 😄. Easy to book — I reserved same morning online! (We wanted a more formal spot, but those required reservations weeks out.) 🌟 Ambiance: Compact space in dark red and black tones. Offers both bar and table seating — we chose the bar to watch the chefs in action 👨🍳🔥. 🌟 Menu: À la carte available, but we went with the Discovery Menu. I’m not much of a drinker, so I ordered a beautiful and delicious cocktail 🍸, while hubby did the wine pairing. 🌟 Course Highlights: Around 8 courses, starting with an amuse-bouche — foam with caviar 🫧. 1️⃣ Two styles of tuna tartare — one with a crispy shiso leaf, another with cucumber 🥒 (refreshing!). 2️⃣ Cute heirloom tomato salad 🍅 (I don’t eat tomatoes, so mine was replaced with eggplant 🍆 — lovely customization!). 3️⃣ King crab 🦀 (mine swapped for a different eggplant dish due to tomato sauce). 4️⃣ Foie gras ravioli — delightful! 👍 5️⃣ Sea urchin sauce with Hokkaido scallop 🐚 — my favorite! ❤️ 6️⃣ Sole with Soubise foam (forgot to snap 7️⃣ Steak — upgraded to A5 Wagyu (a bit too rich for me). 8️⃣ Dessert — raspberry sorbet and ice cream, both yummy. They also brought a birthday cupcake for hubby 🧁. 🌟 Special mention: The gorgeous and tasty cocktail (might’ve been called XX Paradise — memory’s fuzzy after a few sips 😅). Hubby loved a semi-sweet wine with pineapple notes from the pairing. 🏠 Inside MGM Grand 3799 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109 #Foodie #FoodDiary #FrenchCuisine #LasVegas #WeekendPlans #Inspiration #MichelinRestaurant
