Las Vegas 5-Day Business Trip Food Recap‼

As my first stop in the US, my biggest takeaway after eating in Vegas for days is: American prices have skyrocketed + tipping culture is intense! Restaurants now start at 18% suggested tip — I was doing mental math wondering why staff wages rely so much on tips… Didn’t I already pay for the meal? Ended up tipping anyway to keep it polite 😅 🍽️ LAWRY’S Prime Rib – $90 per person 87-year-old steakhouse with old-money decor. Walked in without a reservation. Got hit with American-sized portions — ordered ribeye + signature slow-roast prime rib. The meat quality was great (carved tableside), but the plating was rough and portions were huge. As a girl, I couldn’t finish it — won’t return. 🍣 SUSHI & ROBATA – $50 per person Strong izakaya vibes! Went around 5 PM — no wait, but later it’s 1+ hour. Menu has three tiers: $28 / $38 / $48 (drinks extra). We chose $38 — enough food. Oysters limited to 2 per person; higher tiers include Wagyu. Highly recommend black truffle skewers and plain beef skewers. Sashimi sauce was unique — almost every dish topped with fried onion strings / garlic chips. Skip the sushi — too much rice. 📍 4480 Paradise Rd STE 900 🍜 Saigon Corner – $40 per person Vietnamese spot recommended by locals — some dishes were surprisingly creative! ✅ Salted egg yolk snails (first time trying — quite fragrant) ✅ Angus beef pho on sizzling plate (butter grilled tableside — tender and juicy) Tom yum soup was good, shrimp just okay. 📍 9450 W Russell Rd #101 🍖 Brisket, Ribs & Beers – $20 per person Random American fast-casual spot — pleasant surprise! Ribs and beef ribs were super juicy, much more tender than Chinese-style BBQ. Tried the North American staple Dr. Pepper (tasted like cough syrup lol). No tip expected! Great value for meat lovers. 🍲 District One Kitchen & Bar – $25 per person Classic pho — broth was sweet and fresh, beef portions generous. The raw beef slices cooked slightly in the hot broth had a milky aroma and were super tender. Great for sharing if you don’t eat much. 📍 3400 S Jones Blvd 🍝 Zio's Italian Steakhouse – $70 per person Hidden gem inside Renaissance Hotel — super convenient near the convention center! The prettiest meal of the trip ❤️ Pasta coated in rich tomato sauce + fresh basil, ribeye had authentic Italian flair, salmon salad was light and refreshing. Service was thoughtful too! 📍 3400 Paradise Rd #USWestTravel #FoodieGram #VegasEats #LasVegas #FoodReview #AmericanFood #TravelDining
