Las Vegas ARIA Hotel Review ๐Ÿจโœจ

Overall Rating: โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜† I stayed at ARIA during the week. The hotel is right in the center of the Strip โ€“ super convenient to get anywhere! You can even take the tram to Park MGM and Bellagio. ๐ŸšŠ I booked a Strip View Deluxe King room. I arrived at the front desk at 9:00 AM. The staff helping me was an Indian-descent lady. After handing her my ID, I took out a $20 bill and asked if a complimentary upgrade to a Sky Suite or Corner Suite was possible. She directly told me that the Sky Suite was in another tower and would be hard to upgrade, but if I gave her the $20 tip, she could talk to her manager about upgrading me to another room type. After discussing with the manager for about 10 minutes, she came back and said she could upgrade me to a Stay Well room available immediately, or a Deluxe room with a better view if I was willing to wait. I chose the Stay Well room. Once inside, I found the view wasnโ€™t great, but the bed was very comfortable. However, a few hours later, I noticed what looked like a blood stain on one of the pillows. ๐Ÿ˜ณ I texted the hotel, and quickly got a call from the front desk offering a room change and a $100 credit. I accepted. When I went to the front desk, the manager asked about my room preferences. I just asked for a high floor โ€“ I actually wanted a suite upgrade but was worried they might think I created the stain on purpose to get a free upgrade. In the end, the manager gave me a standard room on the 31st floor, but with a much better view. At night, I noticed the soundproofing wasnโ€™t great โ€“ I could clearly hear the neighbors talking. ๐Ÿ˜… But the service was excellent โ€“ you can text them for things like dental kits, and someone brings them right away! ๐Ÿฆทโœจ The hotel's hardware might not fully match a five-star standard, but the staff's attitude was outstanding. On checkout day, the manager sent us two pairs of slippers as an apology and thanked us for being understanding. He also mentioned he would see if he could discount our resort fee.
